New shareholder and board member at BSF Swissphoto

In April 2022, Mr Wertli took over the majority of shares from the previous shareholders, Thomas Grünenfelder and Dr Roland Stengele, and was simultaneously elected as the new Chairman of the Board of Directors. Mr Grünenfelder and Mr Stengele continue to be shareholders and members of the Board of Directors of BSF Swissphoto.
Mr Wertli (42 years old) holds a Master's degree in Technology Management from the University of St. Gallen and a Bachelor's degree in Aeronautics from Oakland University, USA. During his previous positions with aviation companies and in industry, he has gained a lot of experience in the areas of corporate development, innovation management and sales & marketing.
As of 04.07.2022, Mr Wertli will become a member of the Executive Board of BSF Swissphoto. Dr Roland Stengele will continue as CEO and Chairman of the Executive Board. Mr Wertli will initially familiarise himself intensively with our industry and its specialist areas. He will help shape the operative business, bring in new perspectives and impulses and develop sustainable perspectives for the future.
Mr Wertli's entry is the first step in the succession planning of BSF Swissphoto at shareholder, board of directors and executive board level.
