Do you have thermal vision?
Thermal imaging of roofs and façades of buildings can provide valuable information on heat radiation and possible weak points and thus make a valuable contribution to the energy refurbishment of buildings. However, these statements are often of a purely qualitative nature and limited to individual parts of the building. Together with our partners Considerate AG, the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland FHNW and the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW), and with the support of the Swiss Agency for Innovation Promotion Innosuisse, we are developing a tool to create three-dimensional building models from airborne thermal images of large areas, including a quantitative assessment of the energy status of the building and the potential for renovation. This service is aimed at energy service providers, cities and municipalities, utilities, large property owners, etc., who want an incorruptible inventory and data basis for the planning of renovation measures for their building portfolio.
The product "Thermoplaner 3D" (https://www.thermoplaner3d.ch/) is currently in the testing and validation phase. Contact us to find out how we can support you with your energy-related questions about buildings and how you can participate in the development and validation!
