EAASI Summit in Brüssel

Since September 2019 BSF Swissphoto is a member of the newly founded association "European Association of Aerial Surveying Indsutries (EAASI)". The platform unites various companies of the geodata industry and defines itself as their stakeholder with the overall goal of "making aerial surveying sustainable" (https://www.eaasi.eu/).

The first conference of the platform took place in Brussels from 3 to 5 December. The presentations held during the summit provided an insight into current EU policy as well as the goals and interests of European and international geodata organisations. In addition, it was possible to inform about ongoing international activities of the industry. The most important points, however, were the improvement of the personal network and many interesting discussions with colleagues.
